Rewrite#3

Hello Everyone, In today’s entry, I want to talk about the videos I have watched and how the information that I have learned can be used for my future reading.     My earlier experience with studying was not particularly good, let me tell you that I was merely lucky that I got on fine in high school. I would study at the last minute and or focus on one subject as I did not even know how to properly study and would try to find study tips on YouTube rather than study. That was until what I discovered in this research to which I will be separating into three separate paragraphs.     For this blog, we were asked to watch a video by Mike and Matty  where Mike where they talk about the three best study tips with scientific evidence. In this, he will tell us how to study for exams, how to train your brain to learn effectively again with the help of science.  He mentions that quizzing yourself, “ spacing  it out” your study time and mixing it up and my interpretation of what he means is that

Final rewrite

Hello everyone, Today I will be talking about my one-on-one feedback with my lecturer   In my experience of rewriting my previous blog post called study skills, which in my earlier blog post during this semester, back to when I did not know what to do and I just wrote whatever that comes into my mind.  In this feedback, she said that although my work was good and well linked, there are a few minor things that I can improve on moving forward.   As she said in her feedback on my blog “ Here are a couple of specific things that might help you improve going forward:   I think a little more clarity in what you are reading/ watching and why would be great. For example, you say  “ In my research, I came across a  YouTube  channel called Mike and Matty ”  but really this is one of the videos you were asked to watch as part of the task.  There is nothing wrong with just saying “For this blog we were asked to watch a video by Mike and Matty”.  This would allow you to discuss why you thought you

Media Compression

Image
Hello everyone,   In today’s blog, we will  further explore the area of practical digital media production. We will look at how media compression works and why it is important for the quality and delivery of your digital media artefact. I’m going to explain some concepts with the information I have gathered in the videos I have watched and some sites I have visited for more information about today’s blog.   Now, what is media compression? Well like file compression, the goal of media compression is to reduce file size and save disk space. However, media compressions algorithms are specific to certain types of media, such as image, audio, and video files. (Media Compression Definition, 2021)   What is video compression? Well, video compression is all videos are a combination of images and audio. Each individual image that makes up a video is called a frame. We usually have between 25 to 30 frames displayed in a single second of video. This is known as the  framerate. More frames (or

Peer review #2

Hello Everyone, Today I will be revisiting  we will be revisiting peer feedback. We will look at some additional tips for peer feedback, as well as some of the advantages. As I was going through the blog post I stumbled upon a method called SPARK, this type of method may help me give feedback on blogs that I will have to type feedback on. According to the website, it states that “ good peer review should provide the writer with meaningful information for improvement while developing the reviewer’s ability to analyze a text’s effectiveness. ” (Teaching Students to Give Peer Feedback, 2021) which in my opinion to be true as you can learn a lot from someone else rather than reviewing it yourself as you may be biased to think that everything you did was right, and you may not see anything wrong with what you have written. As I have read on the website SPARK is an acronym and this is how they are laid out ·          Specific: Comments are linked to a discrete word, phrase, or sentence. (

Finishing Production

Hello Everyone,   Today I will discuss the gathering project that I am in and how things are going up until now. At any rate before that, I will remind any individual who hasn't seen my blog how my gathering is doing our venture. The people who don't have the foggiest idea about my gathering has been given the subject of Identity, portrayal, and the media.    So far my gathering plays doled out parts of who's doing every one of the accompanying points: LGBTQ+ people group, women's liberation and harmful manliness, prejudice lastly religion; in any case, the issue then, at that point, was that the fourth individual in our gathering isn't there so we needed to cut the subject of religion in our underlying exploration and by and large video to make it simpler for the three of us thus one of them is doing their examination about bigotry the other is doing it on woman's rights and poisonous manliness concerning me I will do my exploration on the LGBTQ+ people group a

Technological Evolution

Image
Hello everyone, Welcome to my new blog entry, today we will be discussing mechanical advancement just as its set of experiences in computerized media and how it has developed over the long run. We begin to see that as a mechanical age we begin to investigate the eventual fate of advanced media and what it would resemble just as the issues we should confront and the advantages that it can bring to us. The recordings that I observed will let us know how this became, further clarifications will be made as we read through this blog passage. It appears to be that in the primary video, it discusses how it was from the beginning of human innovations as it expresses that "10 million years prior, first apparatuses; people make the main devices from stone, wood, tusks and bones." (Technology Evolution | 100,000 BC - 2020. 2021. [video]) So this means toward the beginning of opportunity we people thought of our absolute first device to have the option to us for our endurance as we want

Towards Production

Hello Everyone, Today I will be discussing the project that I am currently working on with my peers which is the topic of Identity, representation, and the media. I and my peers decided to discuss the following topics: the LGBTQ+ community, toxic masculinity, and feminism as well as racism and how these topics are represented in the media as well as their impact in media. In this, we split those topics for us to research information on and what topic I got is how the LGBTQ+ community is represented in the media and the impacts the LGBTQ+ community have in the media. As I have said I will be talking about how the LGBTQ+ community  is represented in the media, as well as their impacts in media. As of right now, I have only found my finding on how the LGBTQ+ community is represented in media and from what I have found is that according to one website called Seat Up that statistics from the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has brought some welcome news for the LGBTQ+
